We began by working with educators in Louisiana, but we are here for you, wherever you are.

Our mission is to empower educators to actively challenge bias and racism while embracing diversity.

Our vision is that with LAB Education, educators and community members will engage and facilitate critical conversations about race with cultural relevance among themselves, their students, or their community. Educators and students need support to explore the critical topics that affect their lives. Several studies have shown that culturally responsive education strengthens student learning.   (Kayanpur & Harry, 2012; Tatum, 2009, as cited in Hammond, 2015, p. 15)
